Letter Requesting Ivanka Trump to Release Women and Children Refugees

Congress have decided to deport refugees from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. These refugees seek security and asylum after they left behind their homes and some losing their families to war.
While these refugees are the victim of M-13, and the gang related crimes of Northern Triangle, the government, think otherwise and blame the immigrants as the fuel that promotes M13. In a counterproductive move, Congress has decided to fund the imprisonment of asylum seekers and ramp up the country’s border staffing.
On 7th June 2017, Amnesty USA initiated a campaign to apprise Ivanka Trump about the atrocities of female and children immigrants. The letter urges Mrs. Trump to visit Berks County Residential Center in Pennsylvania and to witness the cruelty and mistreatment of toddlers and women who has fled the horrific incident in their home country to seek refuge in the States. There are about 60 infants, toddlers, fathers and mothers jailed at the Berks.
The organization is fighting for the release of vulnerable families who have come from the region of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. These families escaped the bitterness prevalent in their countries, and Amnesty USA letters want to educate the misinformed Congressmen about how they have mistaken victims as criminals. A brief content of the letter is available on Amnesty USA’s website, amnestyusa.org.
